Ghost Dads

When Alice suddenly loses her partner, she makes the unexpected decision to retrieve sperm from his dead body, trying to keep his legacy and their hopes of a family alive. Ghost Dads explores life, legacy, and loss through the families and medical professionals navigating posthumous sperm retrieval and IVF after death.

Tracy Jarrett

Tracy Jarrett is a Peabody and Emmy-award winning documentary filmmaker whose vérité style storytelling has documented some of the most high-profile stories of the last decade. Jarrett started in news but has since expanded her work to documentary features and series. Her work on the HBO special, “Charlottesville: Race and Terror,” earned 4 Emmy awards, a Peabody Award, and was TIME’s 2017 TV episode of the year. She has most recently worked as a Producer on MTV Studios and Motto Pictures’ “The Fire That Took Her," a soon to be announced series for Concordia Studio and Netflix, and Motto Pictures’ “Victim/Suspect” which will premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. Ghost Dads is her Directorial debut.

Emma Commander Moley is a documentary filmmaker based in Los Angeles. She started her career at “VICE” on HBO, working on news and culture stories across the world. Her latest producing work includes "Home,'' an architecture series for A24 and Apple TV+; "Waffles + Mochi", a documentary-scripted series about food and travel featuring Michelle Obama; "Diagnosis," a seven-part Netflix medical series based on The New York Times column; and the British travel series “The Americas with Simon Reeve,” on the BBC. She is currently developing multiple documentary series for Concordia Studio and producing a new international series for Apple TV+.
